For children who, for various reasons, cannot live with their families for a short, medium or long period of time, but who also should not be housed in a home, the PETRA family care service offers two types of care.

We are looking for you
- as on-call foster parents for little children and babies, who need a temporary home due to an emergency
- as a socio-educational care family / professional fostering placement if you are educationally qualified for taking care of children with particularly developmental impairments and want to give them a home in the medium or long term.

WHO WE ARE
In 2014, the support service care-families of “Projekt PETRA” took over on-call care for the city of Darmstadt and has been able to provide short-term help to numerous children and their families in an acute crisis since.
In addition to on-call care, we are always looking for interested people who would like to offer children a home in the medium and long term as socio-pedagogical care family / professional fostering placement.
